On Tuesday, February 13, 2018, the "Daytrippin' to Chapel Perilous" tour featuring milo, ELUCID, and JPEGMAFIA came to Drom in New York, NY for a sold out show. Photos of all three acts appear in the gallery above.
2017 was a weird year. I took an unexpected hiatus from photography (thanks to a broken tibia and ankle surgery). As this year comes to an end, I've selected my favorite portraits taken throughout 2017 (there's nothing from mid-March to late May because I was in a cast and couldn't bear any weight on my right leg) in the gallery above which features Japanese Breakfast, Chastity Belt, Cindy Wilson, Heems, Milo, Melkbelly, the team behind Shea Stadium, and others.
A giant thank you to everyone for their time and for letting lil ol' me to take portraits of them this year. I am beyond grateful to you.
My favorite live shots of the year are now available in this gallery.
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, Los Angeles rapper, Open Mike Eagle's current tour called "The Tour of the Robert Taylor Homes Tour" arrived in Brooklyn for a sold out show at Knitting Factory. There were opening sets from Sammus and Scallops Hotel (a.k.a. milo), and a surprise appearance from Hannibal Buress*. I shot the concert for The Photo Ladies and a full gallery is now available there here.
*Sadly, I did not get any images of Hannibal's performance. He stood in the dark and it was pretty impossible to do so.
On Thursday, February 23, The Lite Blue Movers tour featuring Milo, Randal Bravery, and ELUCID came to Brooklyn, NY. The show also featured an opening set by Denmark Vessey.
I took a few portraits of Milo after his set and the full gallery is now available on Impose Magazine here.
