Hot Snakes toured nine cities in the United States in November (including Brooklyn, NY on Thursday, November 16th), with the final scheduled for Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Underground Arts. The formerly defunct band, who will release a new record next year, was joined by Duchess Says of Montreal, Canada and Pile of Boston, Massachusetts. The show fell on the day where Malcolm Young of AC/DC died so the venue played AC/DC in between sets and John Reis declared that he was now the greatest living rock guitarist after Young's death. I photographed all three acts for the gallery which appears above.
On Saturday, March 11, Pissed Jeans celebrated the release of their fifth album, Why Love Now? (which is now out on Sub Pop Records) with a sold out record release show at PhilaMOCA in Philadelphia, PA.
