Concluding her five date east coast tour before playing the south and west coast in November & December, the legendary Cindy Wilson (of The B-52s) performed at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY on Monday, September 11, 2017. She also performed at The Bell House the previous night (Sunday, September 10th) in the same borough as well. She performed songs off her latest solo record, Change, which will be released in November by the west coast label, Kill Rock Stars, known for putting out records by The Gossip, Bikini Kill, Xiu Xiu, Huggy Bear, Kleenex, and others) in addition to tracks from her EPs, Supernatural and Sunrise. Cindy had everyone's full attention from when she appeared on stage with her band and walked off it at the end of their set.
After her performance, she held a meet and greet with fans at the merchandise table and was very kind and attentive to each person who met her after the show.
Cindy recently conducted an interview at Bandcamp with her B-52s bandmate Fred Schneider, who also released a solo record and you can read the piece here.
